Omar and his wife Leila needed a new flat. They found one online and went to the inspection on Saturday.

When they arrived, there were already twenty people waiting outside.

"Wow, it's busy," said Leila. "Do you think we have a chance?"

Inside, the flat was small but bright, with a balcony and a new kitchen. Omar checked the windows and the taps.

He spoke to the agent. "Hi, I'm Omar. We really like the flat. How long is the lease?"

"Twelve months," said the agent. "Are you interested in applying?"

"Yes. We've just moved to Australia, so we don't have a local rental history, but we both have full-time jobs."

The agent nodded. "That's fine. Just include your payslips and a reference from your employer."

That night, they sent their application. On Tuesday, the agent called. "Congratulations! The flat is yours."
