The table shows how much coffee different age groups in Melbourne drink and spend each week. People aged 25 to 34 drink the most, with 12 cups and 55 dollars per week. Consumption falls with age, reaching just 5 cups and 20 dollars for people over 65. The youngest group drinks 9 cups and spends 41 dollars. Overall, younger and middle-aged adults spend the most on coffee.
The structure behind it
- Introduce: "The table shows/compares…" (what, where, when)
- Main feature: the biggest, highest or most important thing
- Two details with numbers: one comparison, one change or contrast
- Conclusion: "Overall, …"
Keep a steady pace and don't stop for more than 3 seconds; a long pause can end your recording. Fluency and pronunciation count for more than describing every detail.
